For Bookers and Promoters

Here are some "Quick Quotes" for Promo Pages....

"Adam really catches peoples' attention...He has a lot of fans around the world that love his playing....I'm one of them!" - Tommy Emmanuel, CGP

"This guy has monster chops!" - Just Jazz Guitar Magazine

"Adam is one of the greats. He's got it all, melody, harmony, groove and a big smile! A total joy to hear and see.!" - World Champion Fingerpicker Pete Huttlinger

"I personally recommend 'Gratitude' by Adam Rafferty. It's beautifully recorded and crafted. Listen to KZAM to hear tracks from the record. Adam Rafferty's new music is in heavy rotation, which is rare for an acoustic guitar album."- Jeff Hanley, KZAM Blog (Feb 23, 0008)

"If I sound giddy with excitement it's because I am. It's just a stone solid kick to have an album drop into my hands from a heretofore unknown (to me) artist and discover someone so damn talented. " - Bill Binkleman, New Age Reporter (Feb 26, 0008)

"Adam has a niche like no other, he has always been one my favorite guitarist but now I'm calling him one of my all time favorite musicians. " - Shaun Hopper, Guitarist, Composer and Concert Artist

" Adam amazed us all (including Ed Benson of Just Jazz Guitar Magazine) with his incredible use of walking bass lines and, physical/vocal rhythm accompaniments in just about all his arrangements of popular standards and originals. All Adam's energy goes into his performance and guitar playing!"- Palmer Moore, Ohio Fingerstyle Guitar Club Website (Jul 07, 0008)

" It is simply fascinating to hear this man and guitar playing and also to look at. One wonders the whole time, where the man has his third or fourth hand, because it combines the melody and the bass accompaniment so brilliantly that one has the feeling that one would listen to two guitars. This sleight of hand is truly impressive ... But one can hardly describe it - you have to experience it."- Dr. Dirk Pawlowski's Blog (Mar 23, 2010)

" Adam Rafferty doesn't know the fear of emptiness. There is hardly a fingerstyle guitarist that can reduce solo instrumentals and song accompianment to their absolute barest tones like the New Yorker. And as one knows, less is often more. Here its about concentrating on the tight groove, which comes across light as air."- Akustik Gitarre Magzine, March 2010 - 'Girl Meets Guitar' Review

What They're Saying...

Subject: "Yummalicious!"

"Here's a disc already in the running for best acoustic instrumental offering of 2008. Man, this is a tasty recording, yessiree Bob! As Rachel Ray might opine, 'Yummalicious!'...

If I sound giddy with excitement it's because I am. It's just a stone solid kick to have an album drop into my hands from a heretofore unknown (to me) artist and discover someone so damn talented. No doubt I'm late to the "Adam Rafferty kicks ass" party and for that I'm truly sorry, but at least I got here.

Lastly, if you can read the artist's heartfelt liner notes about the origins of this album and remain untouched, well, you must be the kind of person who also thinks "Ah, it's just another sunset."

'Gratitude' is one of the best acoustic guitar albums I've heard in a long time and that statement takes a lot of CDs into account. When I play it, I'm grateful to be alive and I can't think of higher praise than that. Obviously, highly recommended!"
