With all videos your posting on You Tube and the videos you are playing with other players like
Tommy Emmanuel. Why can’t you do a tour in the United States. I went to see Tommy Emmanuel
about 2 or 3 weeks ago and you know what kind of show Tommy purts on. There was another guitar player with Tommy Emmanuel that night and although he was a great player. He had no life in
playing. Just watching your videos it’s very clear you are into the grove and you show it. I would love to see you live. Even if you have to be a opening act for more well known players. Once people hear
your and you play songs that the crowd can connect with, like the Beatles or Michell Jackson or,Stevie Wonder. Watching you play lock into the grove and making it alive I am sure you could
get a huge following in the U.S, I know at least 3 tickets I would pay for just to hear you.

Doug thanks. I will be very honest with you.

I’d love to – and I do play in the states…now and then 🙂

I am in the unique conundrum of needing to find a booking agent, and being a relative newcomer to the scene, even though I have played for years and have a lot of fans.

In the eyes of venues and agents – touring is not about “music” – it’s about selling tickets.

It is a pity, but somehow EU is better suited to mid-famous people such as myself. Distances are smaller, so it costs less to get to the gigs, and bookers are more willing to give things a try based on quality.

I dunno…it’s easier to be busy in EU somehow. I’d love to play in the good ol’ US of A more, but I would need a booking agent & promoter to do the heavy lifting.

I booked a ton of tours myself in the past and well dang it – it just has to be easier from here on.

I get emails from all over the world “Adam would you like to play our festival…” but hardly ever from the USA.

If you know of a place that would like to do an AR concert – let me know 🙂

Don’t forget the UK! Favourites I’ve heard are mostly The Beatles, much more melodic than Michael Jackson or Stevie W.

Adam, the tone coming out of that Maton is sublime. The arrangement is Rafferty-prime. Such a treat for the ears.
