Here’s my performance of the Gershwin classic – “They Can’t Take That Away From Me” fingerstyle guitar version.
Here’s a fun George Gershwin story for you… I grew up in Manhattan on 111th street between Broadway and Amsterdam avenue… From 1924-1929 George Gershwin lived on the SAME BLOCK, just around the corner at 501 west 110th street. How crazy is that!
I hope you enjoy this classic tune, be sure to check out the famous Ella Fitzgerald & Louie Armstrong version. And for awesome guitar versions, check out Walter Rodriguez, Joe Pass, Martin Taylor, Ted Greene and Jim Nichols on YouTube!
My Guitar Recording Set Up
In this video, I’m playing my custom Daniel Zucali Nylon String Crossover with yes…real iron rust as the lacquer 🙂 It’s amazing. I call it the SOHO Model – check it out HERE.
Fingerstyle Guitar – Tips for Tuning!
